Piro is a ceramic artist creating organic, tactile forms that oscillate between functional objects and speculative organisms. Their work is characterized by soft, biomorphic structures, protrusions, and cavities that evoke growth, mutation, and transformation, referencing relationships of symbiosis and parasitism. Drawing on an intuitive, process-driven approach, they explore the tension between control and emergence in material. The resulting pieces feel both familiar and alien - objects that seem to exist somewhere between utility, body, and environment.
