Porcelain sculptures, miniatures and slipcast

Glenna works a lot with clay and plants, lately she’s been working with porcelain too, hand building and slip casting from molds. She has been building miniature sculptures from clay for 15 years, a large amount of them where made while living in a 7x11 foot shed on her friend’s property on Cortes Island/Klahoose Tla’amin and Homalco territory. They have been in group shows in Whaletown BC, Mansons Landing BC, Brighton Beach NY, Montréal, Ottawa, Vancouver, New York and Berlin. She studied costuming in Montréal and is a gardener and flower arranger by trade.
